Advantages
- lots of beaches for civilian enjoyment.

- able to have shipping access.
- nice environment (views)
-  no crowded beaches.

Disadvantages
- hard to maintain good standard.
- large coastline means a large distance to travel there.
- easier for countries to attack.
- tropical disasters, more vulnerable.

Advantages of a large EEZ
- tourism
- allows more places available, more land.
- allows power for other places around the world.
- more forces

Disadvantages of a large EEZ
- a more likely chance that tsunamis or natural disasters could occur.
- harder to travel
- more able to be attacked from other armies.
